A web site has database has been created for the promotion of the region's companies of all kind, at:

www.bicepirus.gr/business

The data base includes valuable information for each company such as: Location - ownership - sector of activity - financial data - number of employees - years in business etc. The search for the registered companies is processed in three ways:

1. By the area - prefecture of operation
2. By the sector of activity
3. By the name of the company

So far 2.500 companies have been registered in the database. For the registration of new companies, the completion of a special form, and its submission to the BIC of Epirus is the only process required.

This database is in Greek only, and it has been developed as a pilot project of the Epirus' RIS program.
